BMW, the world leader in the premium vehicle segment, has launched its new sub-brand ? the BMW i, in a move which could stem its lead in the urban mobility segment for premium vehicles. By being involved in a host of activities, from the marketing of BMW's electric cars to the launch of driving information and other transport-related services, BMI believes the new sub-brand will broaden BMW's association with wider mobility-related services.
