Intrall Rus Looks For European Gains After Polish Investment
February 2011 | Company News AlertRussian carmaker Intrall Rus is looking to invest EUR270mn (US$366mn) towards building a research centre and a manufacturing plant in Poland by 2014. The move is seen as a sign of improving political relations between Poland and Russia, with the two countries looking to strengthen their economic and scientific ties. Russian carmakers have up to now shown little interest in making investments abroad, but BMI believes that such moves could help increase their exposure in the European market.
