Electric Launch Underlines Growing Openings In GCC

Qatar has taken receipt of its first fully electric vehicle (EV), which could form an important part of the CO2 reduction projects under the Qatar National Vision 2030 programme. The move is also an important step for the model's French manufacturer Goupil Industrie as it expands outside of Europe for the first time. This supports BMI's view that there are growing opportunities for manufacturers of alternative fuel vehicles in the Gulf Co-operation Council.
