EV Producer Looks To Asia For Financial Help

Optimal Energy, the producer of South Africa's domestically developed electric vehicle (EV), the Joule, has approached companies in Asia to help with the project's funding. Although the project would give South Africa a national brand and its first local producer of EVs, the company sees the real potential in exports and needs much higher levels of production to make this viable.
